There are moments in life when things just seem to be dark, like there is no light in our life whatsoever. When you feel like there is no way that you will escape from the darkness….. or otherwise known as our worldly problems.

Perfect vision is otherwise known to us as 2020. Now the year is 2020 and boy are we getting some “vision” this year with what things have been brought upon us.

Most people are stuck in their homes and have been through a large amount of the stages that we are all going through during this pandemic.

• Distance – Wow that is crazy that there is a pandemic over there. So what do you want for dinner tonight?
• Curiosity – So what is this thing called, Covid-19? Corona? .. Let me Google it.
• Humor – Corona, man those poor beer makers….
• Intrigue – This thing is really affecting a lot of people. It is starting to spread in the U.S. also I better watch the news a little more.
• Reality – This thing is getting a little too close to my state….
• Disbelief – What do you mean there isn’t any toilet paper in the stores? Why not..
• Baffled – Wait, they want us locked in our homes if we are not essential workers? You mean like don’t leave at all…
• Searching – Google, Google, Google. What is Corona? What is Covid-19? Pandemic, when was the last time?
• Menu maker – Hey Google, how do I make bread? Learn guitar as a beginner…
• Hobby – I need a hobby, maybe I will be a photographer…
• Doer\DIY – Learn guitar as a beginner… How to fix my broken toilet…
• Concerned – This is getting too close to home, my niece has it… Soo many people have died, no testing for everyone yet.
• Disbelief – What do you mean masks can save lives and we don’t have enough of them? Wait breathing machines are needed to save lives and we are out of them, so car manufacturers are making them?
• Reality – Well we have been stuck in the house for soo long now that the shows we watch now have social distancing embedded in their sets and scripts.
• Discouragement – Here we go again, people are buying up the paper towels and toilet paper… over 250,000 lost souls… it isn’t getting any better… people still aren’t believing in a mask? They believe condoms protect them but they don’t believe in personal protection for their face?
• Light – Vaccines are being released by a few companies with over 95% effectiveness.

You see during the darkest times, just when it doesn’t seem like there is ever going to be anything that will take you away from the darkness, a little light starts to break in.

What does this have to do with food? Well in order for you to see the food with your eyes, you need light. In order to take the best pictures, your camera needs to use the light in the best way it can.

Did you know that cameras in phones and other devices have the ability to take pictures in complete darkness but yet the picture looks like it was taken in the daytime or in a brightly lit night sky.

Do you know how that works? The camera stays wide open while taking the shot and allows any bits of light to be used to get the best image for you.

So even in the darkness, there is light, we just need to open our eyes wider and let it in.

Just take a second and think about when the power goes out in your home. The first thing you do is look for a candle or a flashlight to let some light in. Think about that candle… all of that darkness in your home and just one little bit of light takes your fear, anxiety, concern and starts to give you a small sense of peace.

Now you can take that light and bring it with you to lite up other areas of the house. The more areas you lighten up, the more comfortable you feel. The more at peace you feel.

So now just take that small bit of light that is building in your heart right now… and spread it to the rest of your spirit. You already have the light in you. You know what destiny has in store for you… So let the light in.

Even the smallest of flames can cause a fire…. the pine trees have built in survival skills in times of too much light\fire… their cones have built in seeds that only come out after a fire so they can grow more trees. The light of the sun grows the trees along with water and nutrients of the earth.

You are the seed, let the light in, let the nutrients in for your to grow.

We can do this! Darkness is only an illusion or temporary state. Let the candle of your heart ignite your soul.
